Heroic is great, though, if you're up for the challenge.
Doomguy is also excellent at thinking as quickly as he moves. He needs to be able to assess a situation and decide how to deal with it immediately
Doomguy's biggest issue is that most of Chief's guns are hitscan and can't be dodged.
Oh well. I pick the Chief.
This might actually be more fun to discuss if the characters were similar. You know, like "who's tougher? Doomguy, Sam, or Duke?" Or "who is better at saving the Universe?" Shepard or Master Chief?" You know, characters with similarities.
Punching them to death is just as stupid as an assault rifle taking 1/2 a clip to kill while grunts need 1 shot to break shields and 2nd shot to kill.
The difficulty doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that Master Chief is supposed to be this badass soldier yet he's running around with crap gear. Nevermind that the shields and guns suck, but seriously, it's the future and the USNC still uses bullets? No wonder they're getting their asses kicked.
Chief is too conscious of his actions. He still possesses humane thought and looks out for others (marines, cortana, etc.).
The only thought going through Doomguy's mind is "RIP AND TEAR, RIP AND TEAR".
