I think he means gaming channels are dying since there is just a huge amount of them already, it's just going to get more and more of a bad reputation as more and more kids try to copy or get inspired by PewDiePies easy way of life.

Of course but not many people who start gaming channels are creative or have ideas like that, all I usually see these days are clickbait first come, first served gaming channels such as Destiny, first player to get this exotic gets to post a review about it and get about 200k views easily and they always.. ALWAYS say "Hey guys, last time I asked if I could get 2k likes and we smashed it! this time I'm upping the bar and I'd like 10k likes! lets do it guys!"

Literally all the same these days, there are a few out there that are decent though and speak on point about games, complaining about development balances for the playerbase.

Don't get me started on CoD/Counter Strike collabs that think that 15 minutes of sliced skill video makes them good...

The inbetween non-gaming filler of trying to be a Keemstar/Leafy (the worst of youtube, but drives negative drama) is however rubbish and will just destroy him if he continues that path.

I think this idea of we have to create daily content (with no idea or actual content, rather drama) on Youtube to reach demand, rather than create quality actual content has really messed some up.

I don't particularly like Pewdiepie infact i find him to be the lowest form of content creator there is on the platform, but this whole thing is just another example of outrage culture, people getting all wet eyed because someone said something on the Internet that others may or may not be offended by.

If you don't like what someone else has to say the best course of action is to leave, change the channel and not giving a damn.

It's kinda funny how Disney dropped him for quote on quote anti semitism, but yet there's seemingly no problems with the episode of Donald Duck called "In der führer's face", that's appearently fine and dandy XD.

As for the video you linked it is very obvious it was trolling, your first clue should be that he also made that reference to keemstar or whatever his name is, I'd see this more as a kind of social commentary more than anything else
