Dumbest Quote From an IGN review?
Mine was this from Ace Of Spades Battle Builder: "It’s Team Fortress with a spade, Call of Duty with a trowel, Battlefield with a powerdrill." Its like their not even trying to look professional anymore sometimes

I look back and wonder where did it all go wrong with IGN also that 7.8/10 too much water was my favorite and the best part about the meme is where sun and moon references this meme.
I did sort of like IGN, but I think COD reviews is when people start to really notice alot of IGN's flaws, and also just how alot of Game Websites were handing out good gamescores like candy

"Sonic was never good", yet they gave Sonic Adventure 2 89/100

Dumbest one was when 1 of em said that vehicles were always a big part of the Tom Clancy's games....

I guess my problem with IGN is that the travel by water was such a minor issue I know it didn't ruin the entire game for me when I played it. Basically IGN might as well have given ocarina of Time 6/10 because water temple is hard.

Oh I heard about that one, its probably the most textbook example of conflating your own personal gripes or struggles as the fault of the game, also known as Darksydephil syndrome

i dont get how far cry 3 is like "skyrim with guns". The only rpg aspect of far cry 3 is probably choosing skills to invest in but that happens in like every other far cry too

This has nothing to do with IGN, but one of the Pokemans games had the translaters think that putting in a DOGE meme in (one of) the games was a good idea...You just walk up to a dude in the library and he goes "Much book, very knowledge" or something like that...WHY!? But yeah, translations and censorships I find to be WAY more ammusing than dumbass reviews. Like the Fire Emblem petting thing, it would have been a cringey laugh, instead they just cut it out...thank you, the easily triggered.

So you think professionals can't make jokes about recent events?

Actually I think making dumb comparisons when you can't elaborate on a game's features isn't a joke, its just lazy
