Cheapest way to get all of The Sims 4?
I looked on Origin and it already has 500 dlc, I noticed there's a delux edition, but I doubt that includes all dlc, there are also a few bundles, and a million individual dlc.. So what's the best way to aquire the game and all dlc?

Get the Sims 1, 2 or 3 since those 2 games are far better than Sims 4.

There probs isn't a reliable way to get Sims 4 if you really want it that bad.

Cheapest way would be to simply wait until a new Sims game comes out. And even then, you'll most likely have to spend a fair amount of money to get everything once the Sims 4 has run it's course.

I've played Sims 1,2 and 3 into the ground and I'd now like to venture into Sims 4 as it's had time to expand.

Maybe the best thing to do is to compromise and exclude the dlc that you don't need, i.e. a pack that only includes a small handful of clothes or something.
EA is known to sell a lot of pointless dlc just to make a few extra bucks so finding a cheap option with all content will be tough to achieve.

Don't buy all the Packs!

Buy the base game and then pick and choose the packs you want. Sometimes they go on sale, and I've also found that you can get them cheaper if you can find them in a physical store like Gamestop/EB Games.

Here's a short overview of the Packs.

Expansions (Add the most gameplay, but cost the most);

Get to Work: Adds a couple jobs, but I've never really played around with this content since I don't like the fact that I have to leave my other sims behind to follow my main sim to work. They added home businesses, but you can make money off ALL of your skills (Except fitness, IIRC) so even if you want to make a work at home sim, you don't need this.

Get Together: This is the first "Nightlife" style expansion that didn't try to add game mechanics that I HATE! (NPCs constantly falling in love with my sim and begging for dates even though she's married in the Sims 3, that old woman who's only purpose in the game is to be annoying in the Sims 2) Making it the best version of Nightlife. You don't get vampires, though.

City Living I don't actually have this Expansion, as it was released shortly after I stopped playing ^^;

Gamepacks (Doesn't know if it wants to be an Mini Expansion or a Big Stuff Pack);

Outdoor Retreat: It adds a whole new area, and is basically the Holiday mode from the other games.

Spa Day/Dine Out: These are like the lots you could buy from the SimStore for the Sims 3, only these ones you can put ANYWHERE, rather than basically being an extra building for the world that you already bought. I should say that, though, since these ones are actually worth getting. Spa Day adds a couple new skills. Dine Out lets you run your own restaurant, but I haven't really played around with that.

Vampires: Do I really need to say anything about this? Just read the title.

Stuff Packs (Basically actual DLC);

Don't buy these, especially anything revolving around clothing. There is plenty of free Custom Content on websites like The Sims Resource.

----------

Looking at the Origin store there are two bundles that give you the following;

Bundle A: Get to Work + Outdoor Retreat + Luxury Party Pack
Outdoor Retreat is my favorite Gamepack, Get to Work is my least favorite Expansion. Luxury Party is one of those clothing focused Stuff Packs I told you to avoid!

Bundle B: Get Together + Spa Day + Movie Hangout Stuff
Literally the inverse of the other bundle. Get Together is great, Spa Day is naff. Movie Hangout isn't clothes.

I would recommend both of these, because even though they give you Stuff Packs, they're both cheaper than buying the Expansion and Game Pack separately.

You could always wait until The Sims 5 releases then just buy all of The Sims 4 expansions at a new low price.

I remember when 3's expansions were 30 or 40 dollars each, now they're 20 or even 10 during sales.

EA also does sales at times, I would wait until one of those if you don't feel like waiting for them to just drop in price.

Deluxe edition only comes with a few extra items that don't really add any content to the game at all.

You got Expansions which usually add a good amount of content and new things to do into the game, then you have the newer game packs which add a few new features based on the pack itself, vampires, outdoor retreat and Spa Day, these are 10 dollars cheaper than the expansions.

Then you have the same old stuff packs, most of them are useless and only come with hairs, clothing and a ton of chairs. You should do a ton of research on them before considering buying one.

And if you need any help at all when it comes to The Sims, I would recommend Lazy Game Reviews on Youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohwbklm3w_E This review was done when the game was first released, pools and toddlers have been added into the game since then via free patch.

you just have to wait for a sale and buy them then,

sims series is notoriously expensive, I own the sims 3 and all the expansions and it cost me hundreds and hundreds for them and while I love the game to death its no way worth the price I had to pay :(

I only really played it for about 3 days then got bored of it. Basically all I did was create babies 24/7.

Good god! I tried to do a 100 baby challenge in the Sims 3 once. A couple months later I was still going. Ended up giving up because I realized I hate babies in the Sims.

IDK. I only had 1 female virgin in the entire game.

you could not get sims1.
sims2, dlc included, was already given away by ea origin as a time-limited giveaway. no longer sold in ea store

sims3 will probably be given away tomorrow, the next month, or the next decade

It's usually best to judge something yourself. People are more likely to complain about something they don't like and less likely to praise something that they do.

The game has many flaws compared to Sims 3, but I've still had fun playing it.
