The issue with a powerplant that size is to power a motor with enough torque to sharpen the pencil, especially when pressure is applied.

Why not buy a cheap one, open it up, examine the design and then try to improve on it.

Because no one in my vicinity sells them and the ones online have poor reviews meaning that they're flawed and i'd be improving upon a design that just doesn't work. It's like trying to make a turd shiny.
Curious. I might actually take a look and see what this might take, as I don't know off hand. Hmmm.

Two questions. Why do you need an electric pencil sharpener when you can get a tiny hand held one. And why not just use a mechanical pencil?

Just curious.

Get a mechanical one and add a motor to where the crank goes.

I absolutely love a regular pencil when it's sharpened rightly to answer the second question. For the 1st one,i'm an american so i'm lazy and hate the handheld non electrical ones.

See. I would make a joke, but I have built things that took way more work than the act they were helping with myself. Carry on.

It was, sorry. I forgot the pocket part...somewhat intentionally.

No offense when I say this but it doesn't look very appealing, nor does the pencil imo
