No. There are not. Don't be rude.

You have to access the router to set up the open ports. Otherwise it doesn't happen. As it is based on the internet connection hardware.

Why can't you access your router?

Probably because it's not their router. Or they didn't bother to google "How to access my router".

Coz its my parents, and there clearly are ways otherwise people wouldnt have made hundreds of videos on how to and all the google answers on how to do it.

All those information sources, and you can't figure out how.

Ask Mummy and Dadums to give you access. I am not helping a kid bypass their parents restrictions.

And don't correct me again. https://portforward.com/ Read the first part of the instructions on the DEFAULT site for handling port forwarding.

I could get you in their router, but I won't tell you how, and since you can't really understand what you read, I feel pretty safe that you won't figure it out. Just don't hit the reset button. I don't care if you lose internet access, but your parents probably don't need the hassle of setting up the router again.

At no point did I say I wanted to "Hack the mainframe" lmao, and stop being rude lol, my only point is, there are lots of tutorials and stuff (none of which work) and information sources that dont work and so im wondering if its different for windows 10 and simply trying to work out what that difference is so I can do it lol

Have you tried asking one or both of your parents to open the ports for you? They might be cool about it, if you give them a good reason for why you need it.
I will try this, although they seem to believe any router tampering is letting in cyber terrorists :/

That's because if you're not careful, it can.

-.- why would you need to even touch that darn router
open cmd type in ipconfig /all
look up default gateway, copypaste into browser
ask parents/kidnapper pedohile/roommate/girlfriend/cousin for the account
go to port mapping/forwarding/idklol
do what port you want

You need a login for the router. It's not that simple.

What the post described is getting to the login screen.

I also described how to log in (ask parents/check on router)
