Honestly these guys always amuse me. What exactly is the point of trying to act tough and threaten to fight people over the internet? Is it because they have no other argument or substance to their words? It's not like anyone is just going to give you their address. So in summary this thread is for discussing why internet tough guys exist and any funny experiences you have had with internet tough guys.

Because there are no tangible or intangible repercussions. They can hide behind the shield of anonymity.

When you're young and Immature, you try and big yourself to present yourself as someone bigger than you actually are, we are animals after all and its just a human trait.

I remember this kid back in High school who pretended his mam died in a horrible dramatic way and acted insane with rage whenever someone mentioned it or dissed him, it actually worked and people were scared to mess with him until he was battered one day by the school victim.

I've not had to deal with them. They tend to avoid me - I think it's because I don't care about their opinion of me, but I don't know for sure.
