Hey everyone!
There is an awesome project powered by IBM where simple gamers can donate their spare computing power to many different projects. For example finding a cure for Ebola or trying to find new energy sources. While the on site computers at colleges and research facilities focus on break throughs. Our computers are working to crunch numbers when we aren't gaming. To find it a quick Google search should direct you to the World Community Grid website where you can sign up and download the manager which lets you suspend and resume tasks and get notices right there!
I have now made a Steam group for a team created for this. Both are called Gamer's can help too!
This is to show how much we can help since over night our computers aren't in use when they could be crunching numbers that could lead to big break throughs! The combined power of all our gaming rigs should be able to generate tons of results to be returned so researchers can get what they need faster!
