Graphics/gaming performance problems [Alienware]

Has anyone (with NVIDIA video cards) had issues with gaming laptops using the Intel graphics card instead of Nvidia? I've already messed with the NVIDIA Control Panel and it didn't make a difference with gaming performance. a good example like League of Legends, my frame still drops to 40 or so even when having the NVIDIA Control Panel all set to Performance only, the battery power options is also on High Performance, all that didn't changed a thing, so I'm wondering if there's someone out there that knows the issue of this, I've been looking for a fix for 3 days now.

Video Card #1: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530
Video Card #2: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970m
RAM: 16 GB
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
OS: Windows 10

My laptop forcefully uses the Intel I'm assuming, as I said on the post, I already used the NVIDIA Control Panel which didn't help.
