The act of being "edgy" is basically immature teenage kids that think they're cool and mature. They try too hard, becoming tense and irritable with it. Taking coolness to its extreme and generally beyond the realm of actual possibility, while at the same time seemingly unaware of how ridiculous it is.
They try to do things to the very extreme like joke about terrorism, suicide, rape and terminal illness such as cancer, etc. To be tense, just to get attention as people react.
Just stop trying so hard to be cool and popular. It ends up with negative attention, but you still crave that attention. So it's a learning curve, some people just sit upon longer than others.
Considering I am surrounded by immature people in high school daily...
I can 100% agree...
At least they aren't mean, strong, immature people!
However it seems to be the stereotypical "popular" kids use edgy more.
Like ffs according to these guys wearing a mask is edgy...
Wait, do you wear a mask at school?
This came from the kid who somehow turned tapping into attention seeking...
If you did wear a mask at school that would be cool. Also how the hell did I turn tapping into attention seeking? (Im a wizard.....)
Also I was on about the guy calling me edgy for wearing a madk, sorry for not phrasing clearly.
