Good games for a couple?

I play league of legends with my boyfriend. He plans to buy playerunknown playgrounds and CS:GO when he builds PC.

What I'm looking for is: a fun game and not expensive for a couple to spend time together.

So far I have:

Battleblock theater

I would imagine any coop game? I dont know of any games that are designed for "couples"

Dont starve
Borderlands
Payday
Killing Floor
GTA

[Lusus Symphonia]

Sea of thieves looks like a good couples game when it comes out.

Portal 2. Lego dimensions (which I guess ... probably isn't on steam? I don't know we have it for xbone), I third or fourth Borderlands 1 and 2. They're insanely fun.

had a lot fun multiplayer/coop with Helldivers. You can even play it with multiple players at one PC...

This one isn't co-op, and it's definitely not my cup of tea, but give Life Is Strange a shot.

I'm pretty sure most anime games are singleplayer anyway, so you're not really missing much.

Dunno if you two like military RTS games, but we play coop Company of Heroes2 together a lot.

Well if he likes lol, u can try Dota (But it may drain a lot of energy). I remember playing with my ex-bf game called Speedrunners (on my old account), it was a ton of fun especially first 2-3 hrs. But for a long time perspective it's any Borderlands and Overwatch.
