Good games for a couple?
I play league of legends with my boyfriend. He plans to buy playerunknown playgrounds and CS:GO when he builds PC.

What I'm looking for is: a fun game and not expensive for a couple to spend time together.

So far I have:

I imagine it would depend on what genres you like.

It doesn't matter, not anime ones though.
Have you ever played awesomenauts ? I think it went free to play or cost next to nothing

Well I'm just going to go off the criteria of "fun games with multiplayer options".

-Warframe: I haven't played it in a while, but I remember it being a pretty fun (if grindy) co-op MMO. It's free as well, so all you're giving up is the time to install it (which might actually be a while, since it's a pretty big game) and the memory on your hard drive.

-Civilisation series: I mainly played the game in singleplayer since I had trouble finding matches online, but I've heard of some people saying it's fun to play with someone else. It also has a hot seat option in the newer games, so you can both play from the same PC and save some money from a second copy. I'd still recommend doing some research into this one rather than taking my word for it though. Civilisation V goes for about $20 on sale I think, which includes the DLC.

-Borderlands series: I only got to play for a little bit at my friends house, but I had a lot of fun with 2-3 player splitscreen there. Obviously you can't play splitscreen on PC, but it was still a fun game to play on multiplayer.

That's all I can think of for now, I'll add some more if I can think of them.

This is the suggestion or ideas area to make the Steam program itself better, this is not a suggestion or idea for the Steam program.

funny to say no anime when you use an anime-style image for your profile.

If you don't care what genre of game it is... then why not buy any old random co-op or multiplayer game and enjoy?

Maybe she meant VN's? They're usually not co-op though, so maybe not...

The thread was likely originally posted in Suggestions/Ideas, but then moved to Off-Topic.

I remember Spiral Knights being a fun co-op game. Haven't played it in years though so I dunno if the developers butchered it or not aha.
