How many hours spent in a game do you consider a lot?

Personally, I used to think 100 hours, but now I think 50 hours would be a lot of time spent in a game.

I'd consider it like this:

1-10 hours: Casual

10-100: Invested Casual

100-1k: Almost Gaming

1k-10k: Gaming

10k-∞: A S C E N D E D G A M I N G

But how can you spend even 100 hours in a shallow action adventure where the static story of 12 hours is the main course?

And most people do pull off atleast 100 (some like me put over 1k hours) into various paradox titles.

when I think more about it I'd say in general more then 30-40 is a lot's for a single player game unless it's a sandbox game or a game without end.

If a game require you more then that to see everything important from the story or contents then yeah in my book it's a long game.

30-40 hours is nothing in most cRPG´s either... they have an ending and is not sandbox.

I am not sure you have ever played cRPG´s but lets just say, that 50-100 hours is a good take on how long they should be, in some cases even 150 hours is not too much.. but ofc it depends on the singular game and its core elements.

My point was just, that you can´t put "SP" into modern action adventure perspective.. because SP is many things..

These days, about 50 is alot. I have almost 250 hours in Mordhau, but I don't really play it anymore. I have over 3K hours in R6 Siege, about 5-6K hours in BF4/Hardline/BF1.

These days I just do not have that interest or stamina. Sometimes even more than a few hours is enough for me.

What a pity that a guy nailed to a cross (not to mention all the stories about martyrs and awful things like those) is much more violent than:

- Animal Crossing
- Lumines
- Gran Turismo
- Super Lucky's tale
- Endless Ocean
- Child of Eden
- and so on

I've played games where I was shocked to discover I had put in 100 hours and games where it was like ugh not another level after like 10 hours.
