Some of it is SUPER bad, Like those kids who literally try to troll people, I one of those kids, Literally used to troll people and never won, Now mostly you people might think i am cringey just because im the same age as a 5th grader who likes FNAF and stuff, And now to start thinking about TF2, The fanbase itself is not that bad.

Non-fans, yes and just other "normal" people really. As to why they're playing said games? Many reasons: one of them could be a game's popularity and people are curious to see why it's so popular. I.e., Undertale for example.

I heard the cringiest Game fanbases are Sonic, Undertale and FNAF.
Out of the 3 , only sonic fans bother me a bit. Because they used to be everywhere on Deviantart with their pathetic OCs which are besically recolors of oficial artwork.
But since I've left DA, sonic fans don't bother me anymore.
So no game fanbase bothers me.
...
Let's keep in mind that MLP isn't a game.

Absolutely not imo.
There are a lot of squeakers - but the squeakers are not the fanbase.

For me the fanbase consists of content creators like fan-artists. And the TF2 fanbase is okay imo.
