i already know this stuff, i'm just talking about the method of making minced meat not be so dangerous
ok
also lol the way that 'uncommon' comment went over the op's head... ;)
yes yes i already know all this
i'm just saying, you can eat steaks rare style, so just cook a steak rare, then cut off the seared parts and mince it and it would be good, surely? then you can carry on and cook the burger however you want to.
That's the difference, whether you've cooked part of it or not, if you grind up bits that have not been cooked, they will still risk contamination. And from what I'm trying to read, you're talking about 'removing the cooked part and grinding the inside'?
But do what you want to do if people get sick or die i hope it grinds your conscience till the day you die that you put others lives in danger cause you didn't do proper food handling and cooking. I also hope if they do become sick that they sue you for making them sick.
You do NOT want it. You do not want to endanger anyone with that. It's *terrible*. I got lucky when I finally decided to go to the dr, because if I'd waited any longer I probably wouldn't be here now.
It's a serious health risk.
Do not bother with it. Thoroughly cook burger.
ah, i see now. thanks.
the problem is that i see tons of videos on cooking where they have the burger medium rare, and have even had such a burger served to me.
it's good that you survived it.
dude i'm not doing anything i'm just asking for the flaws in the theory, i already know the temperatures, i'm just thought experimenting.
learn to read, i didn't see a video about the method in the original post, i thought of it myself.
i only saw videos of people cooking burgers rare, and thought that it was unsafe, too.
Never pays to be nice to people.
