Kiribati, such a good looking flag.

In close 2nd The Soviet Union flag is cool, the simple design and red is just good looking to me.

As a German explained that to me, black is for iron, red is for blood, and gold is for beer.

The past Germanies were so belligerent because they forgot about the beer.

East German Republic had a very cool flag imo. Same with Yugoslavia.

My favourite would have to be the Union Jack (UK) though. I know it's not actually called that btw, but I love the design. It has a nice tricolour setup and is not too simple, but also not too complex.
