Whats Bad About Metalcore/Emo Bands?
Like BMTH, they sound like metalcore, whiny trash but I cant prove this which annoys the hell out of me.

When i think metalcore i usually think of those bands who use the same old generic chuggy riffs and "tough guy" vocals on the verses and then cry like they're a 13 year old who's just been dumped by their girlfriends on the chorus.

Most bands who are described as "emo" aren't even emo bands. Look up some of the bands who were associated with the genre from back in the late 80's and 90's - Rights of spring, Texas is the reason, The get up kids, Embrace and Jimmy eat world and you'll find some great music. It wasn't always about skinny boys in tight jeans with crap hair cuts crying in to pillows.
