If one exists, its probably mentioned here:

Also, Rising Storm 2 is coming out to answer your first question.
Most of the men of war series rts are actually quite tricky to get into since units have inventory management and can pick up armour and weapons and ammo etc from fallen dudes.
But def worth looking into.
BF Bad company 2, vietnam DLC
Militarily it was a complete failure as far as actually pushing the enemy back we merely held our own. The enemy had us at a disadvantage they knew the terrain and we didn't. Not to mention they had been moving sleepers south of the dmz for quite a while and they simply slipped through as puppet government or as peasants/farmers.
We simply just came to the point where we just couldn't send any more man power as we started to lose sight and vision of why we started the war in the first place. After a while it just became about LBJ saving face. Macknamera had pretty much checked out at that point and lost all interest in the war.
it was a political war and the public didnt support it
Still early in the development process and not a lot to show for in terms of amazing graphics, but the core game system is just about finished.
It's not a resource gathering/building RTS, but more of a tactical real-time combat "simulator" at company/battalion commander level. It will be a series of small games, each with a base, well known historical scenario (although downsized to company/battalion level). After the Vietnam war era is explored, we'll be moving on to other battles (like Battle of the Bulge, Market Garden, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Monte Cassino, Berlin just to mention a few from an earlier conflict). All depending on the reception of our somewhat rare take on what we prefer an RTS game to be, a bit more realism and focus on tactical command than most games on the market.
I can offer a couple of screenshots on my profile from internal tests, just to give some idea what we're working toward, but please keep in mind that the graphics, especially the environment, is just a base test ground so far.
