Gamer problems: nerve damage
Anyone else's index finger has been going numb lately from pressing RT on a 360 gamepad?

Seriously, who plays for that long?
i just remembered a thread by someone who claimed of not sleeping for 15 days straight.
if that person can remain awake that long, then someone can play games for more than 4 hours.
she didnt claim it, she was asking for help on how to do it

I think it has more to do with the way one grips a controller, rather than session length. With racing games it is very easy for me to massively overdo the pressure I apply on RT, subconsciously believing that pressing super-hard will somehow make the car go even faster. Plus I've got really thin, girly hands.

prepare for carpal tunnel syndrome (wrist pain) by typist, athletes, gamers...
Nah, I've had a little taste of that a couple of times when I was drawing or playing guitar for like 10 hours straight, but never during gaming.

You are probably right. Dual Shock shoulder buttons are much wider and less resistant, and thus more ergonomic. If I ever get a good bargain on a DS4 controller, I might just switch!
