How is EduBirdie even allowed
EduBirdie is some website where you can pay people to write essays for you. Many YouTubers and viners are advertising this. I don't see how this is even legal... your thoughts?

Our fallen dark lord and verbal savior.
Jim Jefferies is the next best thing.

If ask for chips, and get tots, they might seem similar, yet they are radically different.
Essays, and when I say essays I mean the ones that follow strict prompts, don't encourage any kind of critical thinking. By paying someone to write a linear essay for you, you aren't becoming dumber, but rather only poorer. I don't see this as a probelm, but I can see it encouraging laziness in the long run.

Or you are explaining your own understanding of the materiel you are learning. Which is the point of an essay.

Essays are never about understanding, they're all about reciting memorized material like a mindless drone. Or copying from a textbook or other third party source. Now, essays that come from the brain and introduce new and original ideas, those are good essays. But not the crap they're forcing kids to do in school these days

Yet the current curriculum requires the very need for repetitive writing as an expression of understanding,

Repetition is not understanding. I can say the same word over and over but never understand the meaning.

ya, only thing they teach is how to please your teacher. they should be about explaining somthing well, so there should be a maximum number of words not minimum, and you should be marked on how well you explain yourself and stay on topic. they way it is you need to go off topic to fill in words to get good marks

I feel the need to ask if we are actually going to discuss the topic, or this is going to degenerate into 10 pages of faff. I will discuss the topic with you, if you like.
