Your an idiot if you do as saying every bad review is wrong and disingenious is like saying every postive review is unbiased.

equilibrium is essential.

i sometimes read reviews but not necessarily accept their verdict on games.

i am el cheapo so i wait for steam sales or giveaways or weekend trials before i make a decision to buy a game. not that i game that much as i only have an el potato pc...

On steam? all of them, I've never read such stupid reviews in my life.

I look at hours played, how long ago they played(things can change), and how long the review is. If it's only a few hours and/or one or two sentences, it's hard to take them seriously, positive or negative.

Also, if a negative review is based on a technical issue and there aren't a lot of others about the same thing, it's most likely a problem on their end and they're too stupid or lazy to resolve it themselves.

I basically just ignore all reviews by random people I'll never hear from again. Much prefer to follow people over time, hear from people who I respect, who write well or have interesting thoughts about games. Knowing what random Steam user #45212 thinks isn't really helpful (or, generally, interesting) enough to be worth the time it takes to find out.
