Try google. Or provide a bit more context in your senario. Also, youll likely have more luck in the hardware/software subforum.

It's malware that is executing whenever you launch Chrome. Instructions on how to remove it can be found here[malwaretips.com]

Remove the malware infection and Youtube and Google.com should function correctly again.

Name of Threat: Xs0.2mdn*net Virus

Type: Adware based application

Danger Level: High (Tries to trick you into installing dangerous software and also stealing your money)

Symptoms: General slowdown, non-responsiveness, and continued display of unwanted Ads. Can fake update alerts (tricking you into download something else malicious) or fake error messages (using scare tactics to trick you into fake protection purchasing).

Distribution Method: Via program bundles, torrent sites and online Ads. Spotted as email attachments as well.

(You might wish to find the app/game/bundle installer it came from and remove that too, if it comes back)

---

Reboot into safe mode.

Download the free version of Spybot:
https://www.safer-networking.org/

It's one of the best (if not the best) web-browser anti-malware tools, specializing in removal of browser hi-jackers and adware.

Update and run a full scan, wait and show results. Check threat levels or just clean all.

Optionally: Run the browser immunization tool too.

No, just use it as manual run on the side (just avoid running multiple real-time scanners at the same time, as that can conflict and/or cause slow downs). The free version doesn't have live protection, so is fine to use as a manual run tool (every now and then) instead.

Note: The domain "2mdn .net" use to be Google's DoubleClick advertising, the adware use to be under a sub-domain of that. It's old now and the server has already been suspended. So that part of your infection is probably not functioning on you. However, it's still a good idea to clean.

---

Windows defender was designed to remove major well known mass-spreading infections. It doesn't clean the lot and isn't a full anti-virus. Rather leaks out common virus definitions for removal. It was meant as a force to stop zombie bot trojans (ddos bots, spam bots, etc) and other viruses running wild on unprotected systems (thousands of systems where unknownly infected and attacking others).
