l am currently researching on blade and soul, black desert online, relevlations online, dragon nest, also tera too and comparing them.
l managed to find a good youtube link(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIKIoOM5gJI) basically titles as blade and soul vs black desert online which highlights the differences. in a sentence, blade and soul relies more on skill so when you die you ask how you move better where black desert relies more on gear so when you die you ask how l equip better. it is from the youtube and seen some examples on it, basically saying blade and soul is more raw mechanics where black desert is hack and slash(from youtube).
just from that, l already know my game type which is the raw mechanics so l would pick blade and soul over black desert online, since l came from a dark souls background.
tera seems to be more raw mechanics too with dragon nest. they both have this aim cursor that l can see from the youtube gameplays.
blade and soul doesnt as far as l can see, it only highlights targets you are attacking, so it is very similar to dark souls. additionaly from that link, it talks a lot about dodging. tera as well from other links and game play.
l am not putting down black desert as bad so dont want to get any hate here just sharing my opinion. from that link, it did say both needs to have skill but just attracts different kinds of player, something along those words.
now l am going to find other action combat mmorpg. to get a better idea. just from that, l may stop the guild wars 2 even though it is still fun. luckily l only played the free verison, l was pretty close on deciding to buy the full version. although, l got a feeling l would still be returning to that game due to many known postives which attracted me.
l got a feeling that these action combat mmorpg wont have the shared loot system like guild wars 2 that is important factor to me in whether l play the game or not. but then again, l might play both, since l really do like the action combat from dark souls but just want it more online rpg, also not that hard lol.
