I still consider the first two Silent Hill parts to be the best parts of the series, while Silent Hill P.T seemed very interesting. As far as I know, it was only some sort of teaser for Silent Hills, or not? I think it's a shame it got cancelled because Kojima left and started Death Stranding.
Is an entirely different system and a major break in the Silent Hill Series, because it works similarly to Outlast, where you simply can't defend yourself and need to act much more cautios. At the same time, enemies are a different threat. as long as they don't see you, they are no danger. That's not true for Silent Hill in my opinion, because you are forced to fight them at some point and without proper preparation it's going to be a tough fight.
Eh, argueable. Not everything Konami touches is automatically bad. "RE VII" for example was quite good for what it is, even though it doesn't beat the old titles. That might be Nostalgia speaking here though. Felt like it wanted to pick up on the Hype "Outlast" started, because suddenly people started to see that there are good games inbetween all the trashy First Person Horror Games that you can find plastered all over Steam.
I'm a person that doesn't really like being chased around too much. The Mansion was incredibly atmospheric and that is what I loved about Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
The moment they became action games is kinda when I started to become rather disappointed.
