I can identify myself as anything that is relevant to me as much as you can, anyone who claims to be a gamer or a true gamer just wish to identify themselves as such.
I was arguing terms earlier, you're a biker while you ride your bike naturally, I couldn't care what you want to identify yourself as, we can all use any noun we want for anyone or anything as long as we understand.
very likely some Bro asshat over at some place like gamespot had a video of him illustrating this view and you ran with it without any consideration to how ridiculous it is.
So I guess Trump is not president when he is asleep?
the logic that you aquired on this from some asshat PR guy likely at Microsoft is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I have given about 10 examples of how silly it is so far...do you need more?
Nein, because i don't like arguments that I may or started. Makes me feel guilty.
Whatever floats your boat, Donald Trumping is Donald Trumping at all times apparently.
You are aware that the "president" is an elected head of a state? It is also a noun but he isn't the president when he isn't the president, as soon as he is demoted, he is no longer the president much the same as when you're biking, you're a biker but when you stop biking, you're not longer a biker.
Of course you can still identify yourself as one.
FULL CIRCLE.
Oh yes, I'm on off topic at the moment aren't I.. Forgot.
is a noun
so is a gamer. 'gamer' is not an action
look I KNOW you didnt think this up yourself, so whoever told you this logic is flat out wrong...simple as that
and the president IS the president even when he is sleeping despite your logic thinking he is not when sleeping
The words I'm talking about is gaming and biking.
You can identify yourself as a gamer and a biker if you want, like anyone can and I'm not exactly what we are arguing about anymore.
People just hold onto a stigma with the word "gamer" like they are special snowflakes when one) it's not impressive and two) anyone can claim to be one thought the definition is "a person who plays video games or participates in role-playing games."
When did I ever... enough.
Zing! Zynga?
you aren't a real gamer because you haven't made it run on an eniac with a hand-coded machine language instructions
that's not true gaming...do you forge your +1 masterwork broadsword yourself?
NOT A REAL SWIMMER UNLESS HE BULLFIGHTS SHARKS, NAKED
NATURAL BREATH-HOLDING ONLY
NO GEAR

Sorry, thread is basically public property. Actually, no, I'm not sorry; that's the way things should be.
You're fine. People are just having a lively discussion on the internet. Don't take it personally.
Don't feel guilty. Seriously. This is just the internet. Hay is made. Everywhere.
