Most brutal/awesome movie fight scenes.
The rain scene in Zatoichi.
The sound his sword makes when he swings it makes it seem so obscenely sharp and deadly like it could cut through a brick wall.

The kitchen fight in The Raid 2. It's just a masterclass in every way and makes a lot of more recent action movies look very silly indeed, Just 2 badasses kicking the absolute crap out eachother for about 6 minutes.

I really like Wing Chun fighting scenes like in "The Grandmaster" and the Ip Man movies.
Flash Point has also some pretty good fights because it's more mixed martial arts like wushu, karate, taekwondo, kickboxing, wrestling etc. combined in one fighting style.

Ehh not really a fight scene, but it is pretty brutal.

I might have one or two. I favor sci-fi yet I love a well shot scene of violence.

Basically any of the fight scenes from The Raid 1 and 2.

How could I not. That scene was awesome icing on a film I really like! Real shame with the remake. I like the star, yet the film was a far cry from the original.

i don't watch that many action movies but let's gooo:

i've heard first ong bak was really good in that regard. i mean i've actually watched it and was stunned by main protagonist. damn, those moves..\

jet li and his sword wielding

gladiator? great scenes. also you've go to check brad pitt in troy, oh yeah.. (i'm not a big fan of fight club, sorry!)

matrix was revolutionary, it's a classic but you probably already know that

if you are looking for underrated movie with lesser emphasis on fighting, you've got to see Dredd 2012 with Karl Urban.

when i was young, my dad would watch a lot of action movies with me. one of them would be Jean Claude Van Damme in Death Warrant. i remember being interested in it but haven't watched it since. bear in mind it's old movie, like mortal kombat type of old so fight scenes will probably look silly rather than impressive.

what about the punisher? frank castle gets assaulted by russian thug. it was hard one

hope it helps somehow, cheers

Maybe not the most brutal, but one of the coolest.

I dont really watch films so I dont know XD
Oh. The Legend of Riki. I would link a clip, yet I thing every single scene ends following an act of Martial Arts violence that would make Pinhead pause for a moment.

I recently watched Killing Them Softly. The Ray Liotta scene is just vicious.

And the greatest fight scene ever.

Bloodsport (1988) :approve:
Oldboy reminded me of a film.
