Good RTS games for beginners?
I wasnt sure if this would go in the "suggestions/ideas" forum as that seems to be for steam itself, if this is in the wrong section sorry :/

Just about every RTS game ive played I found boring, but I was recently looking at the game "breach and clear" and it looks cool. I was wondering if anyone could suggest an RTS game under 25 bucks that is beginner friendly and fun. Im willing to learn new games but I dont want to start off playing something intense like hearts of iron or anything like that.

edit - im off to work, if I reply at a later time im not reviving a dead thread, I just wont have time to read until a smoke break or something.

Halos wars one of my favorites
Command & conquer or total war.
If you own a Gamecube, Wii U or a Wii Pikmin is a good beginners RTS.Not as much micromanagement as others, but its a good way to start rather than jumping into more complex ones.

Suggestions and Ideas section is for actual suggestions to the Steam client. Not for suggesting which games you should buy.

Total Annihilation, Starcraft 2(It got easy mode and the the first missions are always training missions.), some of the later Red Alert and Command & Conquer series. Like Red Alert 3 and up and C&C 3 and up.

The older ones are now mostly for nostalgia and haven't dated that well in terms of gameplay mechanic.

Supreme Commander 2 but this is a worse version of Total Annihilation. But right now Supreme Commander have this issue where the AI will bug out, your units stop taking order and more when there are far too many units on the screen. Because it's a 32Bit game and not 64Bit. No patch is gonna come for it as well.

Total Annihilation works on Windows 10 too but it might crash the first time around as it wants to install something.
Halo Wars is actually a really good RTS for beginners. Since it was a console exclusive until recently, the core gameplay isn't as in-depth as say Starcraft. But its still a solid RTS.
