USB Mouse Problem (jumpy) in Bootcamp
I'm new to Steam, and have been trying to play America's Army online on my 2010 version 13" MacBook Pro. I play the game using Bootcamp. I love the game, and when I use my trackpad on the laptop, everything works great.

However, when I try to use my wireless USB mouse, it is VERY jumpy, to the point that it isn't usable. The USB mouse works fine on the computer and any other time, just not in the game. Does anyone have any idea of what I could do to possibly solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Since Bootcamp is just an easy way to dual boot on an Apple computer, issues like this generally boil down to motherboard chipset drivers, Windows drivers for the mouse or the mouse itself. What version of Windows are you running and what is the model of the MacBook Pro?

I'm using a MacBookPro7,1, and running Windows 7 Ultimate.

The thing I thought was really weird was the fact that the mouse works perfectly fine in Windows or in any other window, it just messes up when I begin playing the game

Gaming adds additional load on your computer and can stress the bus for throughput from the mouse. Have you tried to find new drivers?

Drivers for the mouse? Or drivers for what? I apologize, I'm not very good with computers beyond basic functioning.

I'll look for some when I get home. Do you have any recommendations for drivers?

I use this Microsoft mouse, if that makes any difference at all.

Thanks a bunch for your input and help!
