Since your computer is 10 years old and your power supply is probably not the greatest anymore, I would probably opt for this.
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6450 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card ( 100322L) $40[www.newegg.com]
Geforce GT 630

They all require a PCIE 2.0 slot, but I'm not sure if the port in my desktop would be backwards compatible.
Actually, just saw your PSU and it is not very powerful. So, nevermind, you might not be able to go the route I was talking about. Sorry.
a GT630 would do fine assuming the PSU isnt 100% terrible

Will that be compatible?
though i suggest lookin for one that has a fan on it
And will the video card work under 300 WATTS?
That PC is really not worth upgrading.
Even a $300 Laptop is better then that thing..

If you really want to, that card should do fine.. but spending money on that comp is really not worth it imo.
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.2GHz Triple-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI 760GM-P21 (FX) Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard $44.98
RAM: Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB 2.5" 7200RPM Int
Case : Diablotek CPA-7620 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Logisys 550W ATX12V Power Supply
All of that is $260. Is it worth it? or keep trying?
Or get a new pc overall?
