Thoughts on Acer laptops?

Im ordering another PC, any reccomendations, i want to get a Acer or a Dell.

If your on a tight budget the Acer Aspire 5560G isn't a an awful choice if you want a dedicated graphics card. Poor battery life, but it's a desktop replacement not an ultrabook. Telling folks what country your in and the budget your looking to spend would help alot.

I prefer Dell over Acer, but that is my preference. I have heard from former Acer owners that it isn't the best computer, but if you are needing something cheap, go for it.

ASUS laptops are pretty sturdy, better than average for gaming if you're not willing to pay a little more (though you can always find good deals for them on NewEgg).

Should think about MSI, their not mainstream but their laptops come at a good price and pack considerate gaming power.

I'm one of those former Acer owners and I can say, their products are a hit and miss. They mostly have many reliability issues.

Acer is only bad in my books, from what I've read on the internet. Go with HP, Lenovo or Dell.

I had an Acer laptop, it was ♥♥♥♥. couldn't do much of anything.

Indeed Lenovo is great. I have one and it runs like a charm, despite the fact that a dumbass friend of mine put Win 8 on it -_-

My Acer laptop is an Aspire 5552, it's done me well graphically but newer games are a pain to run so I've often got to run the games on the lowest settings. The battery kind of sucks but I never take the AC adapter out of the laptop.

Don't buy a brand name. Go to a highly rated website that will not rip you off. NCIX in US and Canada do some nice prebuilt systems as well as pcspecialist in the uk. Hope this helps!

For 700 to 1600 US Dollars I would recomend Asus and for 2000 Dollars and up I would highly reccomend the Razor Blade.
