There's quite a few trackball mice out there but they're usually not great for gaming because it has some of the same flaws as older mice that used a ball for the sensor inside the mouse.

Getting used to it isn't the issue, it's keeping it and the sensor clean so it doesn't stick.
hm ok, that doesnt sound too bad as long as its easily removable
maybe they solve the problem of running out of mousepad space?
Yeah it's mainly good for when you have literally no desk space for a typical mouse
I'm sure someone could become very proficient with a trackball mouse, even in shooters, but would take a while to really get to a high skill level; at least, it would for me. I'm so used to a keyboard and mouse, I'm horrible with any controller (xbox, ps, etc.), lol.
The question would be: can someone become just as proficient with a track mouse as they could be with a regular mouse?
But if someone simply doesn't have the room, then it doesn't really matter at that point; have to use what's necessary.
I imagine a trackball mouse is also better for anyone with wrist problems (carpal tunnel, etc.)?
Yes, I guess I have gotten use to it over the years of ownership and limited desktop space.

I don't need any more for now. If I need more than 8GB, I will turn in the other computers to distribute their RAM. Problem solved.

not everyone has money to continously upgrade, or for some... upgrade something they only use occasionally.

not to mention others who find no reason or need for more.

basically, grabbed 2 new tv's (phillips 50in 4k 144hz (native) tv's (old was hisense h5 50in 1080 60hz and hisense h6 55in 4k 60hz), along with hdmi cables to run them (old ones ran 60hz)

grabbed a new mouse (logitech g502x), new keyboard (royal kludge rk96) (old keyboard/mouse was from g-skill) and 2 new (900w cyberpower) ups's (old one died to a lightning strike, 8yr old 900w apc).
there is games that easily use a lot of ram, like final fantasy 15. i have had it use 17 gigabytes out of my 32 gigabytes ram pool. my graphics card have 11 gigabytes. warcraft 3 reforged also uses a lot of ram and easily uses 8 gigabytes in reforged mode. 3 of my laptops have a maximum ram pool of 32 gigabytes, though only 1 of them have that much installed. my asus would need an updated operating system, due to a ram limit in windows 7.
