If you have a 13700K then it's completely wasted if you're still using a GTX 970, should've bought a better GPU first
and if a 970 has 8GB VRAM, you actually in fact have a different GPU, please do a GPU model scan with something like GPUz rq to make sure and check your drivers
But I will say this common users do not a try to do it yourself cause it takes a IT Pro to do that stuff.

powerful cpus are also good for retro games
but it has good memory and an ssd with good size so it sounds actually good outside of games
