If anyone has any thoughts on my build that would be great as it’s my first one and only stands me at £300 gbp approx would love a better gpu but money is really tight with our new baby.
Overclock your RAM, you're handicapping your system by having less than 3000 MHz RAM. CPUs benefit greatly from fast RAM (Intel and ~2nd gen Ryzen up to 3000~3200, and 3600+ with 3rd gen Ryzen)
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-AMD-RX-5700/3649vs4046
And, you can grab one for just over £300 on Amazon, although, it's a blower, and I would advise against that, but for ~£50 you can get one with a better cooler.
Or, if you don't want to spend that much, you can get a second hand RX 580 or 590 (590 is just an overclocked 580) on Ebay for ~£110.
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-AMD-RX-580/3649vs3923
And, I'd try overclocking your RAM a bit if you're willing to, should improve performance a bit.
