With some games it is actually poor optimization that lead to low CPU utilization like in Jedi Survivor https://youtu.be/uI6eAVvvmg0
It is actually more common for people to pair high end PCs with low res low refresh rate monitors.
Not everyone want 200+ fps, I personally prefer high resolution like 4K while 80fps is more than enough for all the games I play. and higher resolution often lead to higher gpu utilization while rely less on the cpu.
At 4K the 3700X is as fast as the 5800x and 5900x

AMD FX-9590 can run the rtx 3060 adequately but NOT the rtx 3050.
That's right! I'm just as surprised as you! I decided to install my rtx 3060 xc gaming into my fx-9590 build expecting huge bottleneck.
To my surprise this was not the case. It runs great! I did the same thing with my rtx 3050 and the results were terrible stutter and frame drop.
So, if you have old PC you can run new graphic card as long as you get one that has 16 lane operation! If you get one with 8 or 4 lane operation your results may be close to unplayable.
I'm now rocking my fx-9590 once again in massive style 😎

I have an FX-8350 build I helped a best friend build back in 2013. I told him at the time that though it would be showing its age, if he kept the GPU up to date and took care of it the machine would be a decade machine if he wanted it to. It originally had an R9-290 and pushed a tripple 40in 5760-1080p setup.
Around 7 years in he had upgraded twice, let the GPU fans die, and it was collecting dust. He gave it to me for 200 (990FX board, 16gb 1866/cl9, SSD, HDD x2 (though both dead now), 850w gold PSU and an NZXT case).
I have had it running with an old GTX-960-4GB (roughly a 1050ti equivelent). And it does great. I spent about 2 weeks ealier this year using it as my main line gaming rig as an honor to it reaching the decade mark. I wanted to see if it had held up. It has.
The FX chips were never the bee's knee's (though had ALU centric code taken off again like it was in the days of old, it would have resulted in a fundemental shift in computing and would have put the FX on top). But while never being the best, they were never as bad as people made them out to be. And in the long run, the FX8 chips absolutely did outlast the i5's for basic 60fps gameplay once games started wanting threads. The i5's still dominate FX in single core, but if the game engine actually expects more than 4 threads to work right, the FX will still work and not choke.
Still... It takes it literal days to do 4K encodes as my Plex Server when my R9-5950x will do the same in hours. Still, for a decade old chip, it can still game and it can still daily drive, both with reasonable usefulness and little if any real issue.
The super is a rumor, just as it was with 3xxx, no solid facts yet - and you've been saying you're going to get something new for 2 years now, please stop, you're killing me D:
Trade it for a Deck or...something xD
We will see if it's a rumor.
why even bother playing games with that potato?
It can barely run with 4 Chrome tabs open.
heh just buy the 4090 already
a Super or Ti would most likely be around 10% or less faster just like the 3090Ti vs 3090
