lighting is silly to people who dont want it, others may want to display their computers and dont think rgb is silly.

also for things like keyboards, backlights are awesome as you can see your keys in the dark.

the problem with it is the price premium they probably make you pay... for instance RGB RAM cost $89~ more on average... But when you get into higher stuff like rtx 2080 ti it's automatically RGB included which might increase the price artifically, except for TITAN RTX, no RGB controls there, simple, clean, perfect choice. lol.
