dell optiplex 755
CPU: intel core 2 dual
integrated graphics but soon upgrading to a HIS Radeon HD 7750
everything else is basic staight from manufacturer

When you make the upgrade just check your powersupply can handle what you throw at it. It is common to buy systems and they ship with a PSU that wont give you much upgrade room.

My Australian $500 budget rig:

Intel i3 3220 (Ivy Bridge)
HIS AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB (Dont buy HIS! Many driver issues, had RMA and poor customer support!)
Some premium Gigabyte H77 motherboard
1TB WD Black Boot Drive
4GB of budget Corsair RAM
Some Thermaltake budget case with an OEM 500W PSU

She gets the job done, able to max BF3 @ 1080p! :tcry:

For rocksmith 2010 I'm using a Spector USA NS-2J bass

All this to play Rocksmith... cause it didn't like my Intel p4 3.2Ghz, 16Gb DDR1, nVidia 9500GT 1 gb machine. Was only able to use the 250gig HDD and the Lite-on optical DVRW/CDRW drive from my original machine, which I put back together and am also using.

It's kind of a cop-out build, just added a few things, and my wife is probably going to divorce me when she gets the Visa bill. I sure will miss her, while I'm playing Bioshock infinite on Ultra.

This here looks like the top of the line CPU you can upgrade to. If you do though, I strongly suggest better cooling to get the most out of it. Also, it's insanely hungry for power, so make make sure to have a decent wattage on your PSU.

Basically, if you wanna upgrade key parts, you may have to shove out a hefty amount of money to make them work well with the rest of your components.

A10-7700k isn't an upgrade thats a big downgrade actually and will probably bottleneck them 270x's.
