When you make the upgrade just check your powersupply can handle what you throw at it. It is common to buy systems and they ship with a PSU that wont give you much upgrade room.

This here looks like the top of the line CPU you can upgrade to. If you do though, I strongly suggest better cooling to get the most out of it. Also, it's insanely hungry for power, so make make sure to have a decent wattage on your PSU.
Basically, if you wanna upgrade key parts, you may have to shove out a hefty amount of money to make them work well with the rest of your components.
