How are you keeping your CPU cool @ 5.52Ghz with the Corsair H100i? I'm running an AMD FX-8150 @ 4.4 ghz and couldn't keep it cooler then 45-50C with my Corsair H100i, so I had to resell the H100i to one of my friends, and had to build a a better water cooling system from scratch.

I havent really had a problem with cooling buddy the H100i seems to work great for me, I have scaled it back a little to 5Ghz today as l have tighened my ram up a little and 5Ghz seems to work best and is more then enough to be fair, but my CPU on idle sits at about 27 - 30c and under heavy load hasnt gone higher the 58c which l am happy with (although the fans can get a little noisy, but not too worried about noise lol)

That seems way too good to be true. I have the FX-8350 and stock it idles at 13c with a closed loop water cooler. Unless your rig sits outside in the snow there is no way it runs 58c under full load.

lol sorry buddy, but lm not looking for validation the numbers are what they are :) am l just lucky? yeah maybe but YAY for me. Whether you believe it or not doesnt really affect me or my temps :p
no not sitting out side in the snow, just in my room with no heating on (still not snow cold) and l said under heavy load (like high spec gaming) not full/max load (like benching it to death to see what it can do) as there is just no need for me to push my CPU or my rig to the max, as l am not an overclocker looking to get numbers as high as l can, just someone that likes crisp, smooth gaming ;)

oh and on a side note, idle temp of 13c is awesome! whats your running temps on the closed loop, if you dont mind me asking? also just a thought but if you switch out the water for something like propylene glycol ( it has a slightly higher viscosity then water, but should be fine) would prob bring your temps down a little more ;)
