absolutely powerful machine right there!
aizakblack 2013 年 10 月 6 日 下午 5:24
it's fine but always depends of what you want to do :)
if you want pure gaming and less multitasking I would go with Intel.

Yeah, pretty good if you dont overclock.
Motherboard is little cheap and not good for overclocking and CPU runs on stock cooler.

This is pretty weak and for $800 you can do better.

instead of the 4170, get an i5 4670 and cheap b85 board

What do you mean "Stock Cooler" and since I won't be overclocking it will it be perfectly fine for highest graphics no lag gaming?

It means it uses the CPU cooler that comes in the box with CPU, not very powerful but when you dont overclock it will work ok.
And yes it should work fine even without overclocking in most games.

But I included in the desciption the new fan I bought, meaning it won't be using the one with the CPU, the one I chose. Be Quiet! BK014 Dark Rock Advanced C1

Lol, sorry I totally missed that line. Yeah this is fine.
ironbender800 2013 年 10 月 6 日 下午 6:49
its good but i wouldnt call it "top grade". i would get an SSD for your boot drive. and look into a better motherboard.

Ok thanks man. :) So could you give your final opinions on the system?

Motherboard is kinda cheap for rig like this, Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 would be better.
Triple-channel memory is not used much anymore. Most people go for dual-channel kits 2x4 Gb, 2x8 Gb. 1866 Mhz CL 9, 1.5V RAM would better.
Rest is quite good and no problems there.

My only advice is to try and buy the mobo and CPU in a package, since many retailers have those types of deals. Just a good way to save some cash.

Does having this motherboard affect anything at all?

You can read quite a lot of reviews about it here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131872

If you get it running without it being dead on arrival you should be ok if you dont overclock.
The Rock God 2013 年 10 月 6 日 下午 9:30
Would you guy's say this is a top grade gaming PC?

No. Good, but hardly top grade.

...will it playing anything on the highest graphics and not lag?

No. The majority of games, but not all of them.

Well that's a bold statement, third best graphics card in the world...

It's not the third best in the world. It's not even the third best from Nvidia.
The 2GB of VRAM is a little light. There's at least a few games out there capable of using more than that. I've seen >3GB of VRAM usage.

This is a good computer BUT you can get a better value for your money by building your own instead. Here are some examples:

My other saved builds:

I personally use a AMD FX 8 core + HD 6950, built over 1 & 1/2 years ago. I like and enjoy it and I feel that I do benefit a lot from the extra cores. However I also do have a AMD A4-5300 APU and I can play many of my games on that as well at some level or another. A AMD Athlon x4 740 + HD 7790 or better can play pretty much anything. So it depends how much you want to spend and what you can afford. I spend pretty much all day every day at my computer so to me it is a big deal to have top quality.
