Best gaming keyboard I could get for under $150?

I'm looking to get a keyboard to replace the Logitech G19s I currently have since it just doesn't seem to work well for me, any suggestions? It has to be mechanical, preferably with customizable backlighting and no massive wrist rest.

DeathStalker is the "prince" of Keyboards. It's fast and simple. The keys are comfortable slim and don't need any cleaning. The lights also looks good in darkness :) Makes mood for christmas :) One of the best keyboards I have.

You certainly like Razer Deathstalker but it's not mechanical. You won't regret going for Corsair Vengeance range. They are stytlish and screams quality about Corsair Vengeance range too. I vote for K70 too and as you can see from the link you can get brown and blue as well as red key switches.

Well, definition of a mechanical keyboard is that each key has its own independent key switch underneath. This mechanical design is not new by the way. Normally when you go to Razer, Corsair or Logitech websites, it should say whether it's fully mechanical, part mechanical or membrane.

Personally, I have a Razer BlackWidow and I love that thing. It has blue mechanical switch keys and just enough features to get you by. Plus, you can snag one for about 80 bucks.

I tried several expensive keyboards....and I went back to the logitech G19

having typed on a logitech g15, razer blackwidow, and a corsair k90 you can "feel" the increase in quality the corsair kb has over the other two. the corsair kb is built like a tank(solid aluminum top plate vs plastic for the other two) and was specifically built to be taken to lan parties and it shows. personally i dont like the noise or the tactile bump of the cherry mx blues that used to be found in the razer kb's (have not had a chance to use their new switches) but absolutely love the mx reds that are in my k90. i have noticed that i make more typing mistakes using my k90 than i did using an old saitek kb but thats because my keystrokes are hitting the edge of other keys and they are sensitive enough they are being pressed.

so my vote is get the k70 and pick out which ever keyswitch you prefer
