Upgrades
Okay guys so here are my specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7770 Sapphire OC Edition
MOBO: ASRock N68-VS3 FX
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit
HDD: 500GB SATA2
USB 2.0 Ports
8 GB RAM
2 Chassis Fans
600W Power Supply

So I already had some products in my mind:
AMD3+ FX 8350/8150(€180/€160)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit(€80(my mum might split it 50/50, so it could be €40 for me))
WD GREEN WD10EZRX 1 TB(SATA3)(€60)

Only there is one problem, the mobo i now have only supports SATAII. So is it really neccesary to buy a new motherboard just to run my new HDD, or does it not make a big of a difference?
And if i have to get a new mobo, wich one is the best to get.
And does it have negative effect for my system, like do i have to reinstall everything?

(keep in mind, im dutch and cheap :P)

Thanks

okay guys thx i need a quick reply, there is a store here nearby with a gpu on sale:GIGABYTE GV-N66TOC-2GD for 250 euros. Should i take this or a AMD Radeon HD 7950?

HD 7950 is faster then GTX 660 Ti. Not too much though, it's only one tier above it:

start up from the dvd , once you select fresh install it will open a drive window , then let you reformat it...
Okay thx, but there is one issue. I plugged in the royalking hd7950. Only it needs a minimum power supply of 600W. i have a psu of 600W. now i have used this gpu for the entire day now, and a moment ago my pc crashed without a warning, like when you pull out the plug. is this connected to the royalking's power requirement?

Hmm, Royalking? never heard of such brand. HD 7950 uses 200W of power so 600W should really be quite plenty. Another possible reason could be card overheating when it has bad heatsink/fan combo or your case is badly ventilated, this can cause automatic shutdown of your PC when card starts going over 100 C.

idk, the only thing i can read is this: BLACK power MODEL: LPK19-35 3*SATA
also, i thought i test this thing out in Natural Selection II. I got in the main menu, tweaked some settings then my display crashed. The PC was still running, so i had to force turn it off.

No, this one: http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/radeon-hd-7950-royalking.1314.html
It is possible you need to install the drivers? Did you go get the new drivers for it already or else use the ones on the included CD?

It could be the PSU is not up to it but I would check software first.

It's this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/700w-storm-silent-lpk19-35-quiet-fan-eps-12v-atx-v22-psu
This should really not be the issue, plenty of power and amps there.
Possibly just crashing issue in some game. Did you get the latest drivers from AMD website?

Ahh this one, the brand name is Club-3D, they usually make decent enough graphics cards.
