dual monitors - help! games minimize when doing stuff in another monitor

Hey guys. I have dual monitors now (yay) and I'm trying to get a game to stay running in one of them, while I browse the internet via firefox or do whatever in the other one

Is this possible?

Run the game in windowed mode without borders.

some games can stay maximized on one monitor when focus is lost, but most will minimize when focus is lost

If a game does not support it you can try using a program called Actual Multiple Monitors:

Using this program pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I forces the currently active window to ignore the loss of input focus allowing you to use your second monitor without your fullscreen program minimizing

I'm going to try this out.....been using display fusion because of the nvidia surround support that it has.....but i like the idea of the minimizing......

Usually that minimize thing happens if your monitors are using different resolution.

Windowed solution is then best alternative.

Both are 1440x900 and 19" lol

different monitors though. One has VGA AND DVI, the other just has VGA

every time I try to run a game with dual monitors the games crash
