I need help with my GPU. My brain Hurts now!
I have a Power Color Radeon HD 7850. I get these lines going down the screen, I hear sound for 5 seonds or more after the crash.

Inside my Machine is
CPU- Intel Core i7 960 Stock Clocks -- My CPU is cooled with Corrsair H50 Hydro Series Water Cooled Self Contained

PSU- is an Antec Earth Watts 550 watt
Ram- 6 gigs of Corrsair Dominator
I have 2 hard drives My Main for windows is 250 gig Western Digital 10000 Rpm Velociraptor
My Second Hard Drive is a 7200 Rpm Wester Digital Caviar Black

I have a Standard CD/DVD Drive Nothing Fancy
I have One set of LED lights hooked up to a molex connector.
I have taken everything out cleaned and spifft up looks nice.

I have the latest driver for it not beta, its the 30.4 driver. All other GPU drivers have been removed and I run the nvidia pysX. I was told I had to run pysx to play nvidia based games. SO I installed the proper driver and played PAYDAY2 and I was on a three day mission and half way through I get those lines I mentioned earlier then I could not bring up or find AMD's Catalyst on my PC at all. Really weird!!!. Is this a Failing GPU, an under power GPU. I tested the heat output to be at 63 degrees C.

I found a guy with the same problem I had but it seems no resoloution has been found.
Link Bellow.

Can u describe the sound. Sure it's not just the GPU fan that is loud due to being above 60*C, after game crashes, GPU cools down and thus the fan speed goes down and the overall noise goes away.

Sound like it's either your GPU or PSU that is the underlining problem here.

Might want to think about a better quality PSU.

Do you have any other PSUs or GPUs u could try in the system?

I wish I did, as far as noise nothing abnormal. Thats why I am trying to center the problem either one or the other. PSU Or GPU. I get a lot of different answers but nothing concrete ya know. Some say its the drivers, some say its the PSU, SOme Say Bad GPU I wish I had the real problem at hand so I could go buy this or that ya know.

That link you posted is a camera photo of the monitor screen. If you take a screenshot in Windows, do you see the same thing?
Yes take a screenshot when the problem is occuring, if we can see it on our end, it's a GPU problem. If only u can see it and it doesn't show up in a screenshot, then it's a Display problem.

Some PSUs and Radeon GPUs are known to whine at time of very high FPS.
Depends on the make/model, etc.

Try removing your side panel, then take a empty paper towel role tube (or something similar, like rolled up magazine perhaps) and re-create your issue, then narrow down the noise, by having the rolled up object between the noise and your ear.

Can you do some stability tests on CPU and GPU?

Is it only one game or several?

I'm sorry I don't know how to help and it could be any number of things including hardware or malware.
