plexiglass computer case

im cutting a computer case out of plexiglass and i cant find the dimentions anywhere im useing a atx motherboard i want to build a midtower with a 7970 gpu

more than likely you will have to determine the demensions yourself.Do you have a empty case you can use for measurements?

Why would u even want too? I never understood those completely clear cases.

You realize you have no motherboard grounding when you use such a case!?
It can be done, even in a Plexi case, but I would not recommend it.

The ground is provided via the cables from the power supply.

some boards need ground via the screws on the board, bot most can get by without them

Through the cables are usually just fine (depending how old your board is, most newer gens are MUCH better with this), but for most who use onboard audio, getting ground from the stand-offs does help from digital noise leaking into the audio.

Again u can mod this to work, even on such a case. Like running a ground wire from a motherboard stand-off to where one of the screws on your PSU goes.

it does not take much to make a very small ground circut for the mobo.
as for plexi you can get uv plexi and some blacklight leds and it will look nice sitting on the desk or floor all lit up

or you can get a mobo tray and use that in a custom plexi case
