Geforce Experience: Driver Help

Hi guys,

I just installed Geforce Experince and so far it works fine with the optimization features. BUT, for some reason the program indicates that my driver is up-to-date which is wierd becuase my driver is still the 314.22? I know that there are newer drivers out there and i would like to ask if it is normal that the program doesnt recomend an update?
Has anyone stumbled on the same issue?

Should I manually update my driver or just leave it be. All my games work fine, but adding a few FPS would be much appriciated, know what I ♥♥♥ :D

Windows 8
CPU: Intel i7 4700MQ
Memory: 16 gb 1600Mhz
HDD Boot: Intel 750Gb
GPU: Nvidia GTX 780M 4Gb

im running 320.49 on a 660 , it seems to work fine for me , however like always if you update your drivers and it starts acting up revert back to the old ones , sometimes Nvidia drivers are a bit buggy when they first get released.

314.22 is the last known stable driver, you wouldn't want to install 320s on a laptop mostly because of overheating.
326 should solve those issues soon.

Geforce Experience didn't recognize the newest drivers available for me either, I ended up having to manually update to driver myself. I updated to 320.49 also and it has been working very well so far.

Does the Geforece experience recognize the 320.49 that you have installed?

It works, but it causes GPU voltages to go too high, thus overheating the card.

What about using MSI afterburner to limit the voltage? Kaboom, does your Geforce experience recoginize the driver that you manually installed?

Deppends on the card, I can't undervolt my 660, so if a driver pushes it up, I cant push it down. Though you can control the voltage and power with the Afterburner.

Yes after updating the driver myself GE did recognize the new driver.

No problem, just a side note GE still doesn't recognize even the new beta drivers even though I have it set to look for betas as well. So I even sent a short bug report to Nvidia about this, so maybe they'll catch it and fix it.

I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one with this problem, as it turns out there's other people on Nvidia's forums that have the same problem.

326.01 should work fine. I have had no issues with it.

just installed 326.41 and it works fine, until the next reboot. Well lets see if i can reboot the machine without having windows 8 deleting the the beta drivers automatically will need to disable the driver signature check to allow the installation.

What ive noticed, GPU runs hotter, not significantly but about+-3-5 C. Perfermance wise: improvements on all my games so far, example GTA 4 (high-ultra) with 314.22 AVG FPS of 20 with the new driver im way over 60. Sucks that I cant keep windows from deleting the updated driver during a reboot. Dell will have to move their asses so they can get a signed and updated driver up on thier websites.

From 20 to 60? you sure? That seems like waaay too much even for nvidia's drivers.

YUP, was shocked myself, first time i loaded GTA 4, i was in shock becuase I was expecting my GTX780M to run the game without any hickups, tried tweaking for about a day but nothing, then risked the driver update, now its smooth without any issues even over 60FPS at times, just need to force FXAA to get some antialiasing in the game. (have not tried this yet) will update.

My guess is that drivers for 780M weren't very good to begin with, thus the drastic improvement.
