Looking to buy a gaming mouse for large hands
Well, the title is fairly self explanitory. I'm looking to get a gaming mouse for myself, a right handed person with hands as long as your keyboard is wide. From the very bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger, my hand is approx. 8.25 inches long. The logitech G500 served me quite well in games like Tribes: Ascend and Planetside 2. The problem is, the rubber cover on the cable tore open where it connects to the mouse. Perhaps I just did something stupid? In either case, I'm slightly hesitant to buy another, but I'm leaning towards doing so.

Ultimately, I need something suitable for large, righted handed people, and I prefer it look someone flashly, with lots of unnecessary LEDs that drive up the price.

Heres one that is slightly smaller but it seems to work well for my large hands.

Its quite nice for the price.

Something a little more expensive with higher DPI would be another logitec model

Neither of these are exactly 8.25in long. A logitec G-700 would probably work best since theres such a small selection of mice that long. None of the long mice I found have LED lights making it all fancy.

Personally I use Logitech MX Revolution, but that mouse is discontinued and the current price is about 2 ~ 3 times higher than on launch (for the new mouse).

Want a flashy large mouse?

Mad Catz Saitek Cyborg RAT 7 MMO edition, you can even select the LED color, besides it being ajustable to almost any (right) hand.

I would recommend RAT 7 or MMO 7. They're great and is adjustable. I have it for three years and it still work great. I take great care of mouse. I would stay away from Razer because of plastic.

you didnt mention if you had a claw or palm style grip. if you have a claw or semi claw style grip then the corsair mice are great. i personally have the m90 and i love it as the feel of the mouse beats my friends logitech g400 and razer naga and thanks to the solid aluminum bottom i have no doubts it will last a very long time
