Hi I got mine from PC Specialist. The service including advice, build, speed of delivery and aftercare is second to none. As for my rig, I could not be happier its an amazing piece of kit.

Hope that helps.
Thanks man! It does!

You need to rebalance the build a bit, depending on your budget.
A lot of games still don't use more than 1 or 2 CPU cores, so getting an 8 core is not suitable. Intel's CPU's will give you much better performance per core. Go for a cheaper Intel CPU/mobo and use the extra money to buy a better GPU.
For modern games, the GPU is the most important part and you'll likely want at least a GTX 660 Ti or better.
You will also need to buy a PSU.
Lastly, I strongly suggest buying an SSD for your OS installation, it makes loading applications, multitasking and booting up insanely quick. 120GB should be more than enough.
Alright, thanks. So would you suggest something like an i5, or an i7?

And would you know what kind of PSU I would need?

Anything helps!

Anything but the CX series from Corsair and get a better case with some half ass decent cable management
Can you tell me how much you're willing to spend?
I'll give you something to go off of after that.

An i5 will be sufficient, the 3570k is the best , Gtx 550 is not good for gaming
Ditch the GTX 650 and get a GTX 760 instead.
What operating system are you looking to get?

Several things:
First, I might try to get a case with better cable management.
Second, if you do go with that case, you should buy some extra case fans.
Third, especially if you haven't built a computer before, you should try for a modular power supply. I can tell you from experience that it is not fun to have to work with 4 extra pci cables.

I haven't used this power supply but it got decent reviews http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-m12ii620bronze

Also if you have the money to get a small SSD it is well worth it.

And I'm actually going to change the case out.

And I'm spending around $1,000. And Windows 7 will be my OS.

550- 600 for single gpu setup, with oc ect.
Sli/crossfire- 750 watt and up ( You only need more than 750 for maybe a triple sli or crossfire)
