I built this computer 4 years ago, is something finally going kaput, or is it a new driver or something?

I have a Gigabyte amd3+ 760 MB
XFX 5670 radeon card
Phenom 955BE cpu
Gskill 1333 ram

Newer AMD drivers seem to be causing these issues.

Make sure DirectX is up to date by using the following DX installer;
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

Try uninstalling AMD Catalyst from Control Panel > Programs & Features.
Once uninstalled, reboot when asked. Then install the following;

Catalyst 13.4 (Radeon Display Drivers)

Just be sure u are installing these as Admin. If not, they may give u error or issue installing correctly.

Ahh drivers. I hate them. The person who came up with the system to use drivers for things needs to be fired. If he invented them on his own, force him to get a job, then fire him.
