The anti-reflective screen on the MSI is super nice, and the video card is a little better, but you've got more hard drive space and bigger RAM with the Asus. Either one is probably good.
Try haggling for the Alienware: you should get at least 10% off with little effort.
I just have to chip in and say I have no problems whatsoever with my MSI overheating. It's been far cooler than any other laptop I've had, and it has some great fan controls for long gaming periods. Just throwing that out.
The alienware has overclocking options, and modded bios support from forums.
The Msi is about the same as the alienware, exept MSI tends to use lesser quality Heatsinks.
The msi and the alienware have 780ms. I would say get a gaming desktop comp and a cheap laptop instead.
