The sims 3 - Laptop
My sister is looking for a Laptop That will run The Sims 3 smoothly at the cheapest price possible?

Could anyone help me out??

I'd shoot for atleast Intel HD4000 graphics on low/medium settings, maybe with a core i3 processor on top. My gf's laptop is core 2duo with hd3000 and sims 3 runs pretty bad on it so now she plays it on my desktop, you don't want something similar to happen to you lol.

How many expansone packs is she going to install and also will she be playing sims 4 when it comes out next year ?

Sorry for the late reply, I have been in a crysis at work all day.
She has got every expension pack for The Sims 3.
She has a computer but she just wants something small and portable at a reasonable price to play The Sims.

So you think a Core i3 with HD4000? And that will be enough?

If you have a budget in mind we could find a good laptop
but yes an i3 or better yet an i5 with hd 4000 will run it fine

Holy crap! Every expansion? That's like $500 worth of sims3. That is a hardcore fan.

She does love it, I have most of them too. cost me £120 in the sale. Not sure what that converts too in $ though. :)

Go with a I5 about 8 GB ram and 500GB hardrive. I woude go with a graphics card that thay say on there website picked the mide range one wich is the NVidia GTS 360M.

For a better deal, you can get a AMD A8 Based laptop for around 400$ and it should have graphics chip that will run around the HD 4000.
