others the cpu will be the bottleneck
-I'm pro Nvidia for gaming. Most issues surrounding games appear to be if you run ATI/AMD; I lurk in the Tech Sections.
In any case don't waste money on any card with less than 2GB of VRAM.
I would also say anything below an i5 is not going to be optimal. While few games are actually multi-core optimized. Intel's HyperThreading forces load balancing. I'm not sure if AMD has similar tech in their CPUs; might account for the poor performance many AMD users appear to have.
All I can say is my current system has yet to find a game that it couldn't handle (aka 60fps with Vsync). Similar setups should work as good or better.
CPU: i7-920
RAM: 12GB
GPU: twin GTX 670 4GB (2-way SLI)
OS: Windows 8
Pentium G 620 is a dual core with no HyperThreading. It barely performs better than an Intel Pentium D (Search: Pentium G 620 vs Pentium D).
As for EyeFinity. Same thing as Nvidia Surround. And really...if you're aiming for a triple (or more) monitor setup....why did you get a G 620 in the first place :P
I just dislike seeing people save money "now" only to spend more "later".
FYI, Did you know stock a 3.0 GHz E8400 loses to a 2.6 GHz Celeron G1610 in games, and needs about 3.9 GHz to match a Pentium G2020. Search "Budget Ivy Bridge" for a tomshardware review comparing Ivy B to Core 2.
OP, the limiting factor will depend on your games and resolutions, but HD 7790 is another good choice to consider.
Oh yea in caspian border i reach 50 70 fps it playable with 64 player but in other im at 30 40 lagging like a monster uh
Example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl-jg1Zw7zU in ultra it run lol
Gpu 50 99% let dance ??? hum i think the cpu is bottlenecking a bit
At the middle i set the setting to medium sorry it in french.. if you look my fps dont change need more cpu power...
Yeah, it does depend on your games. A G620 can do very well in BF3 single player, and you'd want more graphics than 7790 to bump details and resolution. Multi player is another ball game though.
at 4ghz im eating the g620

I ended up getting him an ASUS 650 ti 2gb. It works well, and he loves it. That is all I care about, so thanks for the people who suggested.
